About the event
A summit for everything outdoors with something to offer for all ages, The Bushcraft Show is an extravaganza of wilderness survival skills, packed with a host of activities and demonstrations to keep curious hands busy. Expert speakers regale audiences with personal tales of survival in the country, passing on a plethora of skills including shelter building, wildlife tracking and foraging. Participants can get hands on with exhilarating activities such as falconry, wild swimming, archery and a host of woodland games.
About Elvaston Castle and Country Park
200 acres of sprawling nature presents the perfect venue for activities of all kinds, with terrain spanning from parkland to mysterious woodland, shimmering lakes and historic sculpted gardens. The local wildlife thrives in the nature reserve which sports a selection of bird hides, a butterfly area, reptile basking area and plenty of other places for critters to hide. Field and woodland camping spots allow ample space for tent pitching, allowing humans to reside alongside their animal brethren.
