Convening on the cobbled streets in sight of the towering Cathedral and twisted wooden-beamed buildings, the The Canterbury Ghost Tour has been tracing the ghostly steps of the town’s paranormal population since 1995. With a peculiar and poltergeist-ridden past, Canterbury once played grisly host to the infamous murder of Sir Thomas Becket in 1170. 842 years later, it still boasts ancient inns, haunted towers and beautiful river bridges awaiting intrepid exploration. Groups will meet fellow spectral spectators and ghoul-hunters outside Alberrys Wine Bar on St Margaret’s Street before embarking on their vivid journey through the stories of Canterbury’s ghosts in a tour designed to spook, unnerve, educate and entertain.
Reviews
The Canterbury Ghost Tour was rated a hair-raising 4.5/5 by bewitched TripAdvisors. Reviewers enjoyed the tour and were keen to praise their knowledgeable and entertaining guide.
If you appreciate the fear brought on by spine-tingling stories and the chilling reality of being told that "this happened right where you're standing" then you will enjoy it just as much as we did.

Went on this tour with some uni friends a few months ago now, I was dreading it rather because I thought I'd be terrified! Luckily that was not the case, the tour guide was funny and I enjoyed the stories about the different buildings and various creepy things that have gone on around Canterbury!
