About The Event
Spreading comedic joy throughout Southend and beyond, The Laughing Pod dishes up rib-tickling events with grub and tipples on the side. The comedy showdown at the Park Inn Palace on 27 July welcomes the established likes of Jared Christmas and Sean Hughes. Alternatively, on one Friday a month, Brad Simpson’s Dining Rooms hosts the likes of Tiffany Stevenson (6 July) and Earl Okin (7 September), all set among chortlers enjoying a few munches.
The Venues
Avoiding the perils of chuckling on an empty stomach, guests at Brad Simpson’s will be welcomed with food served up by the on-site restaurant such as soup of the day for starters, Gressingham duck breast for mains, and strawberry cheesecake for afters.
