Although its private parklands give a rare glimpse into the greener side of Milan, the four star Hotel Tiziano, is still only an easy metro hop from many of the city’s famous, stylish sights. Though mainly known for its fashion houses, Milan's class extends to the reaches of striking architectural facades, like the central Duomo cathedral and the La Scala opera house. Visitors lap up fine Italian ice cream in old-fashioned gelateries or sip at superior coffee along the canal, pausing to admire their crafty purchases from the boutiques of this undoubtedly couture municipality.

The Hotel

The four star Hotel Tiziano spreads its hospitable resources onto the green expanse of a private garden that is flanked by tall trees and winding paths. The 1930s building decorates airy interiors with period furnishings and plentiful views to be viewed whilst lounging on the veranda or on a chaise longue. Guests sit down to eat either in the light space of the breakfast room or on the stone-floored garden terrace, and can satisfy stronger thirsts at the hotel lounge bar.

Groupon Recommends

Take the short metro ride into Milan's centre to wander the majestic shopping street of the Corso Venezia which lies close to a green stretch of the city’s Giardini Pubblici. Sprinkled with waterfalls and rocky outcrops, this welcome break from an urban spread is flanked by palaces and museums. To glimpse a window into Milanese history and architecture, visit the elaborate tombs, classical sculptures and highly-decorative obelisks of the Cimitero Monumentale. Then, to continue the cultural catch-up, head to the Gothic Duomo cathedral, where six centuries of construction have resulted in 146 stained glass windows and spire topped by the copper Madonnina, which is said to protect the city.

Reviews

TripAdvisors rate Tiziano 4/5 stars. While some guests found room size modest, reviewers found them clean and comfortable, also praising ease of access to central Milan, service and value for money.

The rooms are newly renovated with and excellent taste in decoration, the reception is very, very pleasant, helpful and kind and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is situated in a very nice area, with shops, restaurants and cafes and it's near the metro station, so you don't have a problem moving around. I would definitely go there again either on business or just on vacation.
