The Park
Dotted with SCUBEs, the modern take on camping, this 2000sqm park offers a convivial atmosphere with BBQ and self-catering facilities, as well as communal garden. The wooden cubes themselves have a panorama window across one whole side, with beds and chic city view posters inside, along with lighting and heating for year-round comfort. Glowing with under-cube lighting at night, the lodgings make for a pretty picture, while the guesthouse boasts a shared kitchen and bathroom with showers.

Hop on the underground at Boddinstraße station, a ten minute walk away, and ride the few stops to Alexanderplatz to get to the famous Fernsehturm tower and the sights of the centre. Head down the road and to the river for Museum Island and take your pick of culture, from the Egyptian artefacts in the Altes Museum, ancient Greek and Turkish finds in the Pergamon Museum, or collection of German paintings in National Gallery. Staying closer to the cabins, wander across to the former Tempelhof airfield, now host to activities such as cycling and picnicking, and located right next to the Columbiabad public pool.
