Hop on the metro at the nearby Anděl station and ride into the city centre, getting off at Staroměstská to explore the winding streets and puppet sellers and making a stop off at the Clock Tower. Alternatively, cross the river at the Jiraskuv bridge near the hotel and admire the intriguing architecture of the famous Dancing House , before strolling on through the new town towards Wenceslas Square. From here, head down the avenue to the National Museum where prehistoric and contemporary artefacts can be found under its imposing dome.

The rooms are well decorated and in good condition and are a good size with a generous bathroom containing a proper power shower. The staff were helpful and friendly and sorted our taxis etc for us, stored our bags after we checked out and were always on hand to help with anything.
