Explore the local villages which prettily weave down the banks of the Seine, such as the nearby Connelles and Andé, and find a tiny bistro where you can sample some French cuisine. Also contemplate diving into the plethora of outdoor activities on your doorstep, from golf to fishing and canoeing. A 45 minute drive from the hotel is the picturesque village of Giverny, where you can visit the green-shuttered former home of Monet and the famously-captured garden with its weeping willows and haze of purple water lilies. For bigger-city charms, Rouen is under 30 kilometres away, and the history-rich city of Bayeux is similarly reachable. Zipping to Paris for a day trip is even feasible, at around an hour and a half away by car.

Transport
Flights: Low-cost flights depart from most UK airports to Charles de Gaulle airport, northeast of Paris and around 90 minutes from the hotel.
Eurostar: Another route into Paris, the Eurostar departs from London St Pancras.
Eurotunnel: If you want to take a car, the Eurotunnel regularly departs from Folkestone, taking you to Calais which is then a three hour drive from the hotel.
Ferry: Ferries from Dover sail regularly to Calais, which is a similar drive time into Normandy.

The idyllic setting and accommodating staff had many guests of the Le Manoir des Deux Amants achieving a healthy bit of R&R. Booking.com users awarded the apartments an Eiffel Tower-sized 8.6/10, while reviews on TripAdvisor were also positive.
Very peaceful, located on waterside. Rooms well equipped with kitchen, washing machines and balcony overlooking the river. Good high speed internet service. Ideal for peace and quiet with ability to be able to work after a day of meetings. Good traditional restaurants within the vicinity. Staff always on hand for information.
