The Hotel

Draped in traditional Moroccan architecture, the five-star Mansour Eddahbi is a peaceful retreat from the lively, labyrinthine streets of the red city. The riad is laid out on olive-green lawns and canopied by exotic plant life, while holiday-makers cool off in the crystal-clear waters of the swimming pools. Inside the terracotta-hued establishment, its chambers come ornamented with cream interiors, marble bathrooms and balconies to watch the sun rise and set over Marrakech. Downstairs, cravings can be curbed in four different restaurants: the classically Morroccan Le Bahja, the Italian-inspired Le Caesar, the international La Palmaraie, and the laid-back Le Rendezvous. Similarly, thirsts can be sated in a quadruplet of bar lounges. Relaxation is the order of the day in the hotel’s lavish spa and wellbeing centre, while guests can dance the night away beneath the glittering disco balls of the Paradise nightclub.

Groupon Recommends

Head into Marrakesh’s maze of covered market stalls, less than a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and grab a front-row seat to watch the city’s snake-charmers, story-tellers and acrobats in action. Let the culinary narrative unfold with a visit to the El-Fna food stalls, and get your teeth into freshly-grilled meats and cooked salads, all mopped up with home-made Moroccan bread. For something a little different, trek through the astounding Atlas Mountains, soaking up its unspoilt, natural beauty and encountering the warm hospitality of its Berber villages.
