Transport
Train: Services are available from Whitby to York, connecting to the East Coast mainline and much of the UK, including direct services to London King's Cross and Edinburgh.
Road: If arriving from the north, leave the A19 after the Tees Viaduct and continue on the A171 towards Whitby, taking a left towards Sandsend on the B1266. From the west or south, leave the A1/M1 for the A64 towards Scarborough. Join the A169 at Pickering to reach Whitby through the moors. For more detailed directions, please click here.
