The Hotel
A three star establishment complete with a heated pool and a restaurant with a seasonally changing menu, the Queens Hotel unfolds with a mixture of modern glamour and studied luxury. The hotel is decorated in a warm, contemporary style, with glossy wood flooring, deep brown leather sofas, and a garden terrace on which to take a little sea air. The Forever Gorgeous day spa and clinic has opened up an oasis of calm in the hotel's midst, and a writer in residence holds regular workshops as part of the hotel's ongoing involvement in local culture.
The Stay
Many of the en suite rooms come with balconies, and all enjoy cosy décor, spacious dimensions, and M&F toiletries in the bathrooms. Guests will enjoy a full English breakfast each morning, and can head downstairs to make the most of the spa facilities before rushing out with towel and spade for a day building sandcastles on the beach. Returning in the evening, guests can use a £20 voucher towards their bill in the restaurant.
Groupon Recommends
Tread a few footprints into the surf on Bournemouth's golden sandy beaches, or head out for a blustery walk along the tussocked coastline. Bournemouth's parks will begin to bloom in the spring, while the Russell Cotes Art Gallery and Museum is a Victorian treasure trove of curiosities, worth a visit whatever the weather. For live music, comedy, and ballet, head to the Bournemouth International Centre or the Pavilion Theatre to sample some of the city's cultural offerings.
Transport
Trains: Bournemouth’s station offers direct trains to major cities such as London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
Road: The main road into the city centre is the A338 dual carriageway, which links to the A31. From there the M27 goes to Southampton and the M3 to London.
Groupon Top Tip
For a scenic stroll along the promenade, take the pier to pier walk between Bournemouth and Biscombe.
Reviews
With 520 Likes on Facebook, it is no surprise that The Queens Hotel received a king-sized 7.5/10 on Booking.com. Some found the décor slightly old-fashioned, but the central location and comfortable rooms were worth the stay.
The Queens offered a great weekend break. The facilities were good the staff very friendly and obliged with any request. The pool was excellant [sic] and well maintained as was the gym which I used on numerous occasions. The food in the restaurant was well presented and very plentiful, being a vegetarian I found adequate choice. I have book for a weekend next year and look forward to returning.

The hotel was very central for everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was to a very high standard every morning. Our double room was very spacious and quiet.
