Although a few guests had some minor noise issues, write-ups are overall very positive. Earning special mention are the attentive and hospitable staff and pleasing meals made with fresh ingredients.

The welcome at reception was first class; warm and friendly but still professional . We had a room facing the sea and it provided all modern amenities one could wish for, from free internet down to locally made biscuits for our morning cuppa… Breakfast was hearty and the staff were chatty and pleasant... Top class service. We would highly recommend a stay at this well run hotel.

I stayed here on business, but if I wanted a quiet break away I would stay here as very comfy and clean superb breakfast too, town a little bit away so transport need to go into town but great retreat. Great view of Ailsa Craig from the room I was in!
