The Hotel

Its central location within the vibrant town of Costa Teguise means its only a simple stroll for those dining out, and the up-beat resort of Puerto del Carmen lies just a 30 minute drive south.
The Stay
Far-flung families will pass the time in a one bedroom apartment, which offers a balcony or terrace, modern catering facilities, and a lounge illuminated by a satellite television. Children may wish to join the lively Mini-Club, while both adults and youngsters alike can take full advantage of the on-site facilities, enacting dolphin impressions in the swimming pool.

Costa Teguise is famed for its four natural beaches, which demonstrate the islands’ volcanic heritage with broad sweeps of golden or black sands and hidden alcoves. As a result you may wish to seek the origin of the sands with an exploration of the island's rugged and lava-strewn interior, perhaps embarking on a guided camel tour around the volcanoes. Returning to the shore, pick from a multitude of oceanic adventures, including illuminating glass-bottomed boat trips, or pirate-style escapades on a wooden schooner. Aquatic activities don't stop there, and the island's waterpark might prove a hit with the younger folks.

As always, first impressions count for a lot, and this resort is very clean and well maintained. We had a one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool, nothing amazing about it, but everything was as it should be and we had no problems at all during our stay.
