Hard rocking chairs are indispensable for sleep-deprived knitters with bad backs. Rock out with today’s Groupon with The Cambridge Rock Festival. Choose from the following options:
• £12.50 for one ticket for Thursday evening and all day Friday (£25 value)• £17.50 for one ticket for Saturday (£35 value)
Despite being 30 minutes from Stanstead airport, 3.3 miles from Cambridge Rail Station and 250 hardcore metres from the motorway, Cambridge Rock Festival is its own rocky planet complete with three geologically distinct stages. With headline acts from The Hamsters, Eddie and the Hotrods, Kyrbgrinder and The Bizarros, the Cambridge Rock Festival is more rock-filled than a granite-heavy gabion. Groupon holders can choose to either set up their base camp on Thursday evening and carry on through Friday, or just head straight up the rock face to the summit on Saturday. Hard rockers can soften up with a choice of more than 70 ales, lagers, wines and spirits, and are invited to caravan, camp or bring their groovy 60s campervan on site for a £25 surcharge.
