Helping golfers really get into the swing of things, Stowmarket Golf Centre chip in with an inclusive ethos, laying on lessons, coaching, and taster sessions across their nine-hole course and driving range. Ahead of their one-hour sessions, birdie-seeking beginners can get themselves fully kitted out with woods, irons, and other vital minerals. Run by golf pro Duncan Burl, the six-week course putts the focus firmly on fun, with multiple dates offering the opportunity for men, women, and mixed sessions of driving, wedging, and whacking. For those tiring of tee, energy boosts will be provided by ample amounts of coffee and cake.
