Escorting flavours from the East, Indian Ocean stirs up red-hot curries and other authentic dishes from their cosy, crisp and blue neon-lit eatery. The opening ceremony will begin with a sublime starter, with choices including the likes of the chicken tikka (£3.50) or garlic mushrooms (£2.75). The culinary parade will then continue with a main course, such as the aromatic lamb tikka masala dressed with almonds, coconuts, cream, and sweet yoghurt (£7.25), the warm heat of the chicken silsila with tomatoes, onions, and green peppers (£7.25), or the fiery fish jalfrezi adorned with exotic herbs and spices (£7.95). Supporting acts will comprise of a rice dish, such as coconut fried rice (£2.95), and a naan bread, with options including the keema naan (£2.50).

Though still to be widely reviewed by diners, Indian Ocean received 4.5/5 from initial TripAdvisor comments. Diners so far have been particularly pleased with the restaurant’s contemporary decor, intimate atmosphere and the quality of the cuisine itself.
This restaurant serves the best Bangladeshi food in the area, bar none! The decor is not typical 'Indian Reasturant [sic]' more contemporary. The service is exceptional too.
