This arts and crafts studio and café is open to all ages and abilities to let loose their creative desires with an assortment of arty parties, clubs, and classes. White clay vessels from dinner plates and teapots to piggy banks and figurines await a splattering of rainbow colours and designs. To make sure mouths are as busy as minds and hands, the café serves up cockle-warming Paddy & Scott teas and coffees as well as aromatic cakes and cookies.
Getting creative juices flowing with a warm cup of tea or coffee, nimble fingered pairs can spend approximately 90 minutes creating a personalised mug masterpiece. After wiping down the clay with a wet sponge to remove any dust, palettes of paint, stencils, stamps, and sponges can do the talking as patrons get to work on designing their stand out piece. Friendly staff will be on hand to offer help and advice, and a colour guide will help customers achieve desired effects. The freshly painted vessel will then be sent off to be glazed in the studio’s fiery hot kiln and transformed into a shiny work of art, ready to be collected around a week later.
