Freshly preparing its spices every day, Voujon in Analby takes the time to ensure all dishes are brimming with flavour. The artful chefs blend traditional Indian cuisine with favourite European fare to create an approach to cooking that draws on the best of both worlds. Complementing these flavours is a sumptuous variety of wines, liquors and refreshing Indian beers as well as an ample selection of soft drinks.
Groups can amass in twos or fours for a three course meal. Starters include sea found treats like Goan crabs freshly cooked with garlic, herbs, and spices, served on a puree bread (£2.95). For the main event, a range of curries all come with rice, including chicken tikka pieces in a dhansak sauce (£6.95). A list of sweets include a selection of ice creams and sorbets includes pistachio kulfi containing saffron sauce, specially flavoured chopped almonds and pistachio nuts(£3.20).
Google Mappers have rated the cuisine at Voujon second to naan, with particular mention also going to the friendly staff.
Small but pleasant surroundings. Food is always excellent and is very good value for money.
