Groupon finds out more about what's cooking at Prince of India, and why those with more delicate palates need not fear a bite of curry.
What kind of food does Prince of India serve?
The restaurant specialises in Punjabi and Bengali flavours, with a range of classic and well-known curries alongside a few house specialities. Tandoori dishes are cooked in a clay oven over red-hot charcoal, and the menu also features nutty biryani dishes, and traditional Pakistani balti.
How does the menu cater to particular tastes?
There are dishes suited to seasoned spice fiends, and the team can even add a little more heat if desired. On the other hand, the classic korma dish is gentle to sensitive taste buds, and any dish can also have the heat dampened down. There is even a menu of English dishes, and anyone with allergies can be catered for on request.
What is the restaurant like inside?
Deep reds and purples aim to evoke an Indian atmosphere, while artwork and the odd bit of foliage add extra visual interest.
