The four branches of this spicy family-run enterprise extend their fragrant aromas across Yorkshire, wafting towards discerning noses with a penchant for Southeast Asian fare. Throwing a hearty helping of tradition in with a good sprinkling of flavour, Spice 4U has been producing a simmering cauldron of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine for over 15 years. The menus dish up a host of old-time favourites such as korma and biryani, alongside intriguing chef's special concoctions.
Seated within the comfortable surroundings of the Oakwood restaurant, two or four peckish eaters can satisfy cravings as they begin their feast. A starter such as king prawn butterfly (£3.95) will get stomachs in a flutter before customers chow down on a chicken, lamb, or vegetarian plateful of a dish such as madras, rogan josh, vindaloo, or korma (£5.95 to £8.95).
