While bees are known to be sociable creatures, their inability to limit guest lists can lead to overcrowded house swarming parties. Enjoy the benefits of a velvet rope with today's Groupon from The Old Steps Bar. Choose from the following options:• £49 for private hire for 20 people with food (69% off)
• £89 for private hire for 40 people with food (72% off)
Tucked in beneath York Place, The Old Steps Bar offers patrons a relaxing and chic cellar getaway complete with enticing food and drink menus. A combination of traditional British fare and European items offer guests a range of culinary flare, with home-style chicken and bacon paninis served alongside more daring items such as salade au chevre chaud. The deep burgundy hues of the bar’s décor reflect the dark timbres of single malts poured on wooden-planked countertops, where an extensive list of liquors and beers can be found.
Gaggles of giggling friends can revel in their private party by celebrating with a complimentary shot on arrival. Letting their hair down for three to six hours, each guest can expect their fete to include a hot dish such as beef in Leeds ale or Irish stew (£1.50 per person). If appetites reawaken, slay hunger with a hot buffet, which features a vegetarian Indian selection, pizza, chicken wings, and sausage rolls (£6.50 per person).

Diners have written favourably about their meal at The Old Steps, awarding special mentions to the attentive staff, variety of the menu, and quality of ingredients.
The pub is small and is quite easily missed as it is located down some "old steps". Inside there is a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The specials board is enough to get your mouthwatering and when the food arrives it doesn't disappoint! You a presented with a generous portion especially for he [sic] price and the flavours that are crammed into each of the dishes is sublime. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Has to be one of the very best places to eat in Leeds. Whilst low key it has a great reputation around the business quarter of Leeds. The food produced by the French chef is fantastic and changes daily, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and I can honestly not think of a bar in Leeds that can match the offering of The Old Steps.
