With its exquisite glass front, the historic building lays foundations for a stylish café bar during the day and modern restaurant and intimate cocktail lounge from the early evenings.
Starting feastivities off with a bang, diners can tuck into salmon fish cakes (£6.25) served upon a mixed leaf salad and drizzled in a chilli and honey dressing. Averting hungry eyes to the mains menu, twosomes can get stuck into the smoked haddock and cherry tomato risotto (£9.50).
