Spaghetti tastes great with a side of garlic bread, but it’s hard to gnocchi it with a sprinkling of grated cheese. Make a fuss-illi over today’s Groupon: £16 two course Italian meal with wine for two at Cucina Kitchen.
Taking its name from the kitchen showroom it originally shared the premises with, the inspired team at Cucina decided to extend this link and the result is an exclusive two storey dining experience that serve an eclectic mix of traditional Italian cuisine. With its exquisite glass front, the historic building lays foundations for a stylish café bar during the day and modern restaurant and intimate cocktail lounge from the early evenings.
Starting feastivities off with a bang, diners can tuck into salmon fish cakes (£6.25) served upon a mixed leaf salad and drizzled in a chilli and honey dressing. Averting hungry eyes to the mains menu, twosomes can get stuck into the smoked haddock and cherry tomato risotto (£9.50). Those wanting to get lost in a traditional Italian dish can try the calzone folded pizza (£8.95), packed with pepperoni, ham, salami, mozzarella and tomato sauce. While chewing, dining duos can indulge in wine can sip on a small glass of vino from Italy (£2.90).
Very stylish in decor, the menu perfectly compliments the surroundings. I can heartily recommend the paninis and wraps.

Absolutely superb food and brilliant service. It's great to have such a good place to eat on my front door so that I'm not having to traipse all the way in to Leeds city centre.
