A live music venue banging out the tunes and bands over two floors, Empire's lot is mixed in with the indie rock crowd, whose thirsts are ably quenched with an international array of beers. The upstairs bar plays host to specially selected Belgian brews, while the 250-capacity basement comprises a stage set up with a state-of-the art sound system and mixing desk. Located just past Leeds Bridge, Empire is separated from the busier bustle of Call Lane by just a few minutes' quick shuffling.
