The operation is performed under local anaesthetic, and involves surgically creating a corneal cap, which can be folded back to allow the utilisation of laser therapy inside the cornea to help ensure bright eyes. The session
Fledgling visionaries can endeavour to treat near-sightedness, far-sightedness, astigmatism, and in some cases presbyopia with LASIK surgery for both eyes. An extensive consultation will clear the woods from the trees, and if LASIK proves unsuitable clients can elect to undergo an alternative treatment (surcharges may apply). LASIK is suitable for shortsight of up to -7.00D and longsight up to +3.00D, with or without pesky astigmatism.
