Cedars restaurant is founded upon the same principles as the country from which it derives its culinary inspiration. The main objective at the restaurant has been to place as much importance on warmth and hospitality as is practiced in Lebanon, a nation which prides itself on its thriving tourist industry.
As Lebanese representatives to Leicester they offer all guests the best food and comfort possible, ensuring that every visitor feels both extremely welcome and compelled to stay. Upon arrival all guests are presented with a cup of coffee and made to feel completely at home while sampling some of the delicious Mezze (similar to starters) which consist of a range of delicacies like pickles, olives, cheese, yoghurt, nuts, grain, with herbs and spices.
Although the menu is extensive and covers all the familiar classics, for a truly Lebanese experience we advise you to try the Seasoned Ferri, a whole quail, seasoned and grilled in coriander, garlic and lemon juice and served with fragrant rice or fries and salad. The Lahem Mishi, grilled tender cubes of lamb, served with a choice of fries or fragrant rice is hearty, tangy and satisfying, whilst the hot Mezze menu consists of a wonderful selection of vegetarian food. Think delicious savoury pastries, falafel, cheese, fresh vegetables and hummus.
