Draped in the culinary heritage of the Middle East, Tarboush is a traditional Middle Eastern Cafe and Restaurant, intricately woven with meze and salads inspired by Moroccan, Syrian, Lebanese, Turkish, and Greek influences. The establishment pays homage to the regional tastes with rustic red and terracotta decor, authentic tapestries, and ornate lanterns, all while answering hunger pangs from morning until nightfall. As well as quenching thirsts with traditional hot and cold beverages, the eatery is encompassed by sweet aromas seeping from its shisha pipes.
Middle Eastern masterpieces – made up of ten meze with portions sizes doubled up for dining quarterts – could include the likes of kebbeh shamih with minced lamb, traditional herbs, spices, and nuts (£5.50), the baba ghanouj with grilled aubergine puréed with sesame paste, lemon juice, and olive oil (£4.50), or rolled vine leaves stuffed with rice, tomatoes, and onions (£4.50). Taste buds will be then be sweetened with a helping of baklava with filo pastry, chopped nuts, and syrup (£3.20), before morsels are washed down with a glass of Ouzo (£3.75) or a cup of Arabic tea or coffee (both £1.80) each.

Reviews
While still to be extensively reviewed, Tarboush was awarded a mouth watering 5/5 by early TripAdvisor reviewers who were particularly impressed by the service and the quality of the meze.
We were greeted very warmly by the friendly waitress who was very knowledgeable about the food and served us most efficiently. The food arrived promptly and all four of the party thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
