Man does not live by bread alone, but by olives, tomatoes, and a slice of halloumi too. Eat and eat well with today's Groupon from La Vida Cafe Bar and Restaurant. Choose from the following options:
• £21 for a three-course Mediterranean meal for two (Up to 57% off)• £36 for a three-course Mediterranean meal for four (Up to 63% off)
Topped off with sundried tomatoes and lashings of olive oil, La Vida brings a warm ray of Mediterranean sunshine to the city centre with flavoursome Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese fare. Senses are awakened with freshly-prepared pizza pies and pastas, aromatic tapas dishes, and plates of grilled meat and seafood, accompanied by the likes of roasted vegetables and warm focaccia bread. The restaurant opens its doors to guests from 10am to midnight, seven days a week, and hosts live music on Thursday nights.
Bursting with Mediterranean flavour, culinary journeys could begin with pan-fried king prawns with garlic and chilli (£6.20) or dry-cured Spanish ham, otherwise known as jamón Serrano (£4.90) before moving on to the main course. Tastebuds could travel to Italy with the taste of the calzone pizza folded with salami, mushrooms, and spinach (£8.30) or the tagliatelle dressed with aubergines, courgettes, and onions (£6.80) or they may head to the warm Mediterranean coast with the seabass served with tiger prawns and mussels in a white wine and lemon sauce (£14.90). Adventures will arrive at a sweet ending with a dessert, with choices including homemade tiramisu (£3.20) and scoops of ice cream (£2.50).
