Spicing up the classic pub scene with the tastes of India, Roti perches atop The Blues Pub, dishing out authentic curries and contemporary creations to complement a tipple of real ale. Sprinkled with elegant touches of oak flooring, comfy seats, and traditional décor, the cosy eatery offers a nifty post-pint solution with grub served in hefty portions and tweaked to personal preference. The menu is wide and varied, tempting Oadby’s peckish with their signature mogo fries and platters of poppadums.

Starters include chilli paneer (£3.95), Jeera chicken (£5.95), or a mixed grill sizzler to split between two (£9.95), while mains include lamb curry (£6.45), and baingan bharta of grilled aubergine coated in veggies and spice (£4.45). Each plate is decorated with extras of a spicy, plain, or pilau rice (£1.95) a garlic and chilli naan (£1.75), a house spicy salad (£1.95), and poppadums with dippy morsels (£1.20). Dinners can be washed down with a cup of coffee (£1.45), before they reflect on their culinary globetrotting with a cheeky liqueur (£2.35)

Reviews
The Blues Pub’s Roti restaurant has received some encouraging reviews from diners who have enjoyed their fresh take on Indian cuisine. Write-ups state that the food itself shines, whilst also celebrating the level of service and inviting atmosphere.
The restaurant is fairly small, but impeccable. The dining room here is light and airy, despite the dark oak flooring and purple ceiling. Wooden tables, church pews and comfy chairs give it a welcoming but smart feel and we were soon ensconced in a lovely corner table checking out the menu. There's a good selection here, and all at reasonable prices. Vegetarians, especially, will find something a bit different here including mogo fries, coated in garlic and ginger (£1.95) – think French fries made with cassava. They taste fantastic, too, a million miles away from McDonald's… Roti has no pretensions to be offering anything other than a good curry, reasonably priced. And that's not a bad thing at all.

Went to the pub last week after I heard that it had new management and refit. It was really good and the service is great. As it was mother’s day the restaurant was packed and we really enjoyed the food.
