Harking back to its traditional roots, Sylheti Spice conjures up the mesmeric melodies and tones of the East by featuring live sitar on select nights to accompany its wide menu of authentic Indian cuisine. Guests are welcomed to enjoy their experience within light, calmly-decorated surrounds, spliced with cultural decor from the Land of the Tiger .
Two or four peckish eaters can kick start their dining experience by tucking into a starter such as stuffed peppers (£3.95), roasted in a clay oven and packed with a choice of lamb, chicken, or vegetable, or the chicken pakora (£2.95). Customers can then move onto tingling their taste buds with a spicy main including chicken rezella (£7.50), prepared with tandoori chicken, onions, capsicum, tomatoes, and pistachio nuts, or any veggie-friendly alternative. Once plates are mopped clean, palates can be soothed with a cup of coffee or some ice cream (£2.45) to bring things to a chilled out end.
