With views of Lincoln Castle, the imperial Roman's Place Restaurant is a restaurant seasoned with a Mediterranean-inspired menu and extensive wine list.
Duos (£33.95) or foursomes (£67.90) can walk beneath archways draped in ivy as they seek out a two-course meal each. Indulgent flavours will be introduced through starters such as an antipasti of cured meats and salad (£6.50), or bruschetta topped with tomatoes, red onions, pesto, and balsamic vinegar (£3.90).
Main attractions include chicken breast coated in breadcrumbs and topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese (£16.95), and spaghetti polpette with meatballs in a tomato sauce (£9.30). Fans of spun dough are also catered for with a range of oven-baked pizzas (from £8.40).
