Utilising 15 years of prettifying experience plus training with MAC cosmetics, the owner of Fake It Nail & Lash Bar has set up two salons either side of the Wirall to deliver bona fide beauty services. The nail and lash bar includes in its eclectic menu of treats glowing spray tans and make-up lessons for budding beauticians. Playing host to pamper parties, as well as offering tailored packages, the salons provide a peaceful place for fingers, faces, and bodies to be spoilt.

Flipping a coin or playing rock, paper, scissors, with the on-hand technician, customers can somehow choose between decorating their hands with a CND Shellac (£22) or liquid and powder acrylic (£28) treatment. Both the Shellac and acrylic nails are designed to stay pretty for longer, allowing digits to be shown off for up to two weeks. The session also involves a manicure, where cuticles and nails will be expertly shaped, and hands will be massaged.
