The introductory sewing class lasts three hours and takes students through sewing machine basics such as threading up and changing the needle, as well as plenty of stitching techniques. Machines and fabric are provided, as are tea and biscuits for pupils to nibble over their needle, but students who have their own sewing machines are advised to bring theirs along, in order to get familiar with its sartorial style.
