Serving imaginative suppers and catering to the hunger pangs of local businesses with lunchtime spreads, Mango is a bright of slice internationally-inspired eating. The sleek and airy interior features terracotta walls and warm wooden floors, and tables are laden with lunches and dinners from Cajun buttered chicken to Bantry Bay mussels. Weekends bring the option of hiring the space for private parties, and the restaurant adds further local spice with regular jazz nights.

A starter and main course each can be chosen from the à la carte menu, which is available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Starter options may include juicy tempura king prawns with basil and mushroom duxelle, topped with pesto cream cheese (£4.95); or confit of Barbary duck leg with chorizo and tomato salad (£4.50). Moving through to the main, a minted shoulder of welsh lamb is braised and served on a garlic and thyme mash along with sautéed onions and minted red wine sauce (£9.95). For those in a more pelagic mood, the lemon sole fillets come stuffed with prawn and smoked salmon mousse and are served with a dry vermouth and dill velouté (£16.95). All meals can be enjoyed with a glass of house wine or a soft drink per person.
