A stylish, curtained cavern of extravagance and celebrity pixie dust, Newz Bar is a delectable diner and bar. A former 19th century shipping house, its conversion on the dawn of the millennia has seen the venue catapulted to one of the most high profile, buzzing corners of town. With its lickable red leather upholstery, stainless steel poser tables, and jetpack equipped doormen, the exclusive club has garnered attention from some of the world's most famous faces, yet its commendable, down to earth atmosphere makes it perfect for any special occasion.
Groupon gastronauts are invited to perch their posteriors on one of the venue's benches of red leather booths, some of which may have previously harboured celebrity derrières. Perfect pairs will get a gorgeous two course steak meal, picking any starter (£5.95) and tucking in to an emphatic slab of Angus steak (£16.95), cooked according to preference. Twosomes will also get chips or a jacket potato (£3.50), and onion rings or salad (£3.50) to accompany their plate. Each person will get a glass of bubbly, and those wishing to substitute their steak for something else can choose from chicken, salmon, or a vegetarian option, or just sneakily pinch their amigo's onion rings when they're not looking.

With the guest list including celebrities such as Girls Aloud, Newz Bar has secured it spot among the most glamorous haunts and reviewers have rated the whole experience highly. From the impressive decor, to the food, the cocktails and the star studded crowd, customers have been impressed.
The service was excellent and the bar staff where so friendly and knowledgeable to boot. We also tried their new cocktail menu and I had the best Mojito I've ever had in Liverpool!
