Head to the Great Orme Country Park Visitor Centre to begin explorations of the scenic limestone headland. Exhibits on coastal history and favoured walking routes are illustrated alongside more in-depth explanations of this rural spot's history and geology. Visitors can get up close and personal with the region's wildlife by taking a trip to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, which couples live entertainment with panoramic views of nearby Colwyn Bay. Staying closer to the hotel, the town's Victorian pier gives the chance to traverse an old-fashioned platform, resplendent with the rides, crafts and crab lines of old.

Transport
Train: Direct trains operate from London Euston to Llandudno. There is a regular connecting service between Llandudno Junction (mainline stop on the Holyhead to London Euston line) and Llandudno town centre station.
Road: Taking the M5 from the south or the M6 from the north, drivers should follow signs for Chester or Wrexham and then take the A55 to Colwyn Bay.

We found that it was excellent value for money as the whole place was modern, clean and had a luxe [sic] feel to it. […] The breakfast especially was a pleasant surprise with fresh fruit, pastries and a cooked selection that included a full fry-up, healthy omelettes, pancakes and French toast. Not your typical B&B offering, and cooked to perfection! The location is a ten minute walk from the main strip in Llandudno and the beach, and is very quiet at night time so you get a good night's sleep.
