Now in its hundredth year, Bidston Golf Club offers a true test to golfing skills with its sometimes challenging par 70 course. Two golfers can head out for an 18-hole round. An option to have a month-long trial membership at the club is also available.

G: What’s the course like?
It's a fair mix of three- and four-par holes with a couple of lengthy par fives thrown in for good measure. The 6153-yard classic parkland style course features water hazards, unforgiving rough and some high-ridged bunkers which force players to maintain concentration throughout the round. 
G: What’s the history of the club?
Bidston is in its hundredth year and has undergone a lot of growth and expansion over the last century. Starting off as a nine-hole course it soon expanded to 15 holes before reaching the full length 18 holes in 1925. The Second World War and the construction off the M53 motorway both impacted on the size of the course over the years, but the club has survived and strengthened, maintaining itself as a stalwart on the ever popular golfing area that is the Wirral.

A selection of snacks, meals and drinks are available in the club house. Hearty items on the menu include all-day breakfast and baked potatoes with various scrumptious fillings.
