With edible influences sneaking in from French, Italian, and Spanish cuisine, the establishment puts a Great British Wimbledon Hill spin on continental and Mediterranean bites. The carefully crafted menu features locally sourced produce where possible, with handmade sausages and London brewed beer and gin on the agenda. Nestled a two minute amble from Wimbledon train station, the restaurant seeks to amuse bouches with all three daily culinary occasions duly represented.
Two or four trendsetting diners can dig in to a taster menu, offering five courses of fine morsels to dazzle the taste buds with a flavoursome showcase. The ‘A Taste of 40’ menu aims to send guests on a sensual journey through the seafood realms of pan-fried scallops, to hearty earth-bound Dexter onglet steak. Customers can finish up with a creamy pannacota laced with oh-so-English strawberries and shortbread.
Menu:
Pan-fried hand dived scallops, apple and vanilla puree, with crispy leeks and pork belly
Ham hock and rabbit terrine with quince jelly
Organic Salmon fillet, English asparagus, and saffron hollandaise
Seared Dexter onglet steak, port braised ox cheek, horseradish cream and roast garlic mash
Vanilla pannacotta, English strawberries with basil syrup, and black pepper shortbread

This is a very family-friendly restaurant, great service and friendly advice had some fantastic food finds. The rabbit hock terrine, and the venison was amazing and if you ever want to try something a little on the unusual side try the Earl Grey jelly! Fantastic selection of wines and all in all a fantastic evening! Thank you.
