The fashionistas who lead classes design and manufacture their own pieces, from dresses and bags to cushions, and work in partnership with Hackney College to pass on their skills. The teaching studio is kitted out with sewing machines, utensils, and reels of fabrics, for beeming seamstresses. 
Suitable for beginners, the five-hour class covers the basics of dressmaking, allowing crafty folk to make a personalised dress for work. The tutors will guide students through the process, with pre-cut fabrics and patterns at the ready for learners to get sewing on. All equipment and materials are included, and with a max of eight students in each class, plenty of one-on-one tutorial time is also in the bag.
