Now in its third year, Epsom Live! 2011 has fastened its place on the summer starting line at the quintessentially English Epsom Downs Racecourse. A historic and world renowned derby course, magnificent steeds and their jockeys have been shaking the soil of this hallowed ground for nearly four centuries. Since 2009, which also saw the completion of the grand Duchess's Stand that now keeps the Queen's stand company, Epsom Live! 2011 has hosted resplendent race days followed by live outdoor concerts from world class acts at dusk.
On each day, the race-ready quadrupeds can be watched showing off their strut in the paddock prior to the race. Groupon holders will have a spot in the stands to oversee the mad dash, and the nonsensically long-faced winner and his rider can be cheered and toasted on the triumphant trot to the winner's circle. After the race attentions will turn to another arena set to light up the beautiful Epsom Downs sky late into the night. Packages available are:
