Set across 25 acres of grounds of the Hilton St Anne's Manor, The Escape Spa houses a diverse spread of facilities, with the sauna, steam room and cardio machines running happily alongside the restaurant and lounge. The best of both is offered to customers, who can relax into a 25-minute back massage (£35) and a 30-minute Escape facial with scalp massage before or after an afternoon tea. The tea comprises sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and cakes, while juice refreshments are also available. Those after a lengthier relaxation session can add use of the facilities for an additional £10 and receive 30% off further treatments.

Staff at the Spa were very friendly and helpful ... Hopefully I won't leave it until next years half marathon before I visit the hotel and spa again!
