Like an ocean liner, semi-permanent eyeliner can withstand adverse water conditions, gleam in the sunlight, and attract the attention of sunbathers. Make a splash with today’s Groupon: £149 for semi-permanent make-up, with a choice of eyebrows or eyeliner, by Pure Synergie.
About Semi-Permanent Make-Up
Aspiring to enhance natural facial features, the application of skin-friendly pigments onto the surface layer of skin aims to help define areas such as eyes, eyebrows, and lips. An initial consultation will determine how natural or dramatic the results should be, and will involve discussion of preferred colour, shape, and style. Also known as micropigmentation, or cosmetic tattooing, this treatment involves extremely thin needles subtly piercing the skin's surface. Effects will fade gradually over time, depending on factors such as age, skin type, exposure to sun, and general skin care; however, top-ups can rectify this. Treatment times will vary depending on areas.
The Merchant
Shaping lip colour with care, and using feathered strokes to recreate individual brow-hairs, Kaytie Blyther makes a bid to enhance her clients’ profiles via semi-permanent make-up. She uses cosmetic tattooing to put the finishing touches to faces at the Pure Synergie salon in Bannatyne's Health Club. The Russell Square venue is open until 8pm on Monday and Tuesday, and until 6pm on Sunday.
The Session
A 30-minute consultation will seek to ensure the suitability of the treatment and discover the client's preferences as to shape, colour and style. The patron will be presented with the option of semi-permanent make-up for either upper and lower eyelids or full eyebrows, and the process will be carried out over one hour, as long morning make-up routines recede into days gone by.
Reviews
Though yet to be widely reviewed, Pure Synergie received two gorgeous scores of 5/5 from Qype users who were pleased with the results of their treatments and were keen to compliment the therapists and atmosphere.
I have been to Pure Synergie for a Caviar Facial and can only say WOW! It ws [sic] the best facial I have ever had, and I have had quiete [sic] a few! My skin was thoroughly cleansed and glowed for weeks afterwards.

The treatment room was warm, cozy and elegant with candles and oil burners creating just the right ambience. My therapist was extremely experienced and the massage was, as promised, a deep massage targeting my sore and tired muscles. I left feeling invigorated and rested and I would definitely go back.
