Aiming to keep balls out of the rough once and for all, TVGC PGA PRO is the tuition facility at the Thamesview Golf Centre, an all-purpose golf hub with a 9-hole pay-and-play course and driving range. The course is open every day of the year, save Christmas Day, when Santa rents the complex out; and the driving range is floodlit and covered, meaning that golfers can drive to their hearts’ content until 8:30pm most days, and in the rain, also most days. There is also a range of lesson options, some of which use digital swing video analysis as a way to improve technique.
On weekdays or weekends, growing golfers will receive three 30-minute lessons with a PGA professional instructor. The sessions will be one-to-one, and all skill levels are welcome, from handicaps of three to three hundred.
