Getting people fired up from within the meandering trails of Hertfordshire’s countryside, The Shooting Grounds is set within 20 acres of glorious green and features a floodlit shooting range. The sounds of expert gunfire and shattering clay can be heard as customers practice their shotgun skills, hit flying targets, and aim crossbows at unsuspecting bull’s-eyes. The weapon wielding team provides a range of illuminating lessons to help folk sharpen up their rifling, archery, and clay shooting talents.
The session, which lasts for up to an hour, is designed to aid beginners in the way of the rifle, teaching the fundamentals such as gun safety and targeting, before hitting the lunch deck to enjoy a meat or vegetarian roll with a drink.
