The staff at the Richmond-based restaurant utilise freshly-prepared ingredients to expertly create sashimi, soups, and the compartmentalised flavours of handy bento boxes. The two hour sushi masterclass will lead kitchen apprentices in the art of nigiri, temaki, and sashimi sculpting, providing the fresh fish, rice and other ingredients to create plate-dwelling masterpieces. Learners will receive a glass of plum wine (umeshu) or soft drink on arrival, and will proceed to make up to 20 sushi pieces. After the class, a second glass of plum wine or soft drink can be enjoyed with fellow trainees before proud new chefs take home their creations.
