This family-run riding school and all-round equestrian sanctuary has four decades of experience at the reigns, and boasts a diverse stable including show jumpers and Shetland ponies. While the Enfield location serves a convenient escape from the urban bustle, enthusiasts of all abilities and inclinations can try their hands at show jumping, woodland hacking, and beginner lessons. NVQ training, exams, and polo classes are all offered, as well as a pony club for the little ones.
Equestrian enthusiasm can find rapturous expression over the course of this two and a half hour experience, kicking off with a 30 minute skills assessment and a 60 minute riding lesson or a woodland ride. There are many breeds to choose from, and grooming and care is also covered, with tips on tail washing, saddling and diet. Lessons are offered seven days a week at a range of times, although weekend availability is limited.
