Staying in an en suite double with two day's car hire, full English breakfast on both mornings, bubbly on arrival, and use of the Merton Hotel Leisure Centre
Channelling the look and feel of a 17th century country house, Greenhills Country Hotel and Restaurant welcomes guests to a world of plush gardens and interiors inspired by English stately homes. The rooms come complete with en suite bathrooms, satellite LED TVs, duck down duvets and toiletries from The White Company. The restaurant has earned an AA rosette for its inventive introduction of Continental influences to classic British cuisine, and guests can take cocktails by the pool before taking their seats for an evening meal. The hotel enjoys the use of The Merton Hotel's leisure facilities, which include a gym, Aquadome, sauna, steam room, and Flowrider surf simulator.
With the use of the car for two days, visitors can pack a picnic and head out to explore some of the island's remoter beaches. Walking, cycling, and horse riding are available at the nearby Coastal National Park at Les Mielles, while a boat trip can take you to one of the surrounding islands. Elsewhere, historians may or take a peek at the Jersey War Tunnels for an insight into the German occupation during World War II. The North Coast Path will provide keen walkers with a lengthy challenge, while there are plenty of shorter routes for the more casual rambler. Return to the hotel to enjoy a pre-booked three course table d'hote meal for £22, or head to Les Roches Spa for luxurious pampering.
Flights: A number of airlines operate to Jersey Airport, which is a short distance from the hotel.
Ferry: The fast ferry leaves Weymouth and cuts a double-hulled wake to St Helier in approximately three hours and 40 minutes.
Car hire: The car can be picked up at the airport, the harbour, or the hotel. Tax, CDW, fees and petrol are payable on collection.

A beautiful location, with such pretty gardens. A comfortable room with a great view of the garden, delicious meals and the most courteous and helpful staff you could wish for. We definitely want to return and wish the hotel every success for the future - they certainly deserve it!
