Established in 1994, History Studios has grown three central London branches specialising in creative, historical photo shoots and contemporary photography courses. The studios are filled with vibrant historical sets which emulate opulent Tudor splendour, raucous gun-toting Wild West antics, glamorous gangster speakeasies and the top hats and full skirted elegance of Victorian England. The vast range of sets and costumes on offer can also be employed in a personalised short film.
Based at History Studios' Knightsbridge location, the four hour course will cover the basics of shutter speed, aperture and ISO, along with how to light and frame chosen subjects. The hands-on approach to the course will see pupils snapping real models in a studio environment to build confidence and the skills to produce creative portraits with character and personality.
