It is said that every cloud has a silver lining, though strangely, jewellers never seem to have any in stock. Make up some gems with today’s Groupon: £18 for a choice of 2.5 hour jewellery making classes at London Jewellery School.
Precious about the art of jewellery-making, this Hatton Garden-based school is decked-out with a team of professionals whose intimate knowledge of gems sets a shining example. Director and Spirit of London Award nominee, Jessica Rose, keeps London Jewellery School glistening with her wealth of experience. There are over 100 taught classes for the purpose of festooning wrists, necks, and earlobes. While there are workshops for fun-loving party hens before their big day, there are also more intensive courses available with certificates issued upon polished completion.
Those who have taken a shine to the craft of jewellery-concoction can spend two and a half hours learning the skills necessary to fashion their own. Students can opt to produce cocktail rings, chandelier earrings, necklaces, button jewellery, or recycle their old gems in exchange for a newer ornament. With all materials provided, customers can get to work charming their way through the lesson.
London Jewellery School receives a spectacular 5/5 stars from Time Out users, who praise the fun workshops and aesthetic end results. The school has also merited favourable press from publications such as Marie Claire.
