Every member of staff at Maariya's Beauty Secret & Spa is trained to City & Guilds NVQ level, lending the softly-lit space an calming air of professional expertise. The salon was founded 20 years ago, and is kitted out with three treatment rooms, a sauna, a full-size hot tub, lush seats and head-to-toe mirrors. A broad range of hair, beauty and holistic services or packages is on offer, along with a superstar roster of stock, including the likes of TIGI, Catwalk, Matis, MD Formulations and Repêchage.
The Universal Contour Wrap has patrons rolled into 30 to 32 bandages and soaked with a mineral-abundant solution of skin-enriching clay. The Chrysalis machine aims to help accelerate body contouring around the waist, stomach and thighs, using a programme chosen according to client requirements. After being enveloped in the cosy warmth of a thermal blanket, clients can lie back for around 35 minutes. Once unravelled, results are analysed and a certificate with a hologram from Universal Contour Wrap presented.
