Working in conjunction with The London City Hospitality Centre (LCHC), Open Kitchen is both a seat for epicurean education and a hub of delicious dining. As a functioning and flourishing restaurant, Open Kitchen thrives in their Hoxton setting, sourcing ingredients from local suppliers and using free range, freedom welfare, and fair trade produce, wherever possible. All students are involved with the preparation and serving of food as part of their practical education, working from the newly renovated state-of-the-art kitchen to produce fine fodder.
Kneading types will be welcomed into this food fulcrum to learn the art of bread making in a two hour class. Each step is covered from the choice of ingredients and flavours, and breaking down recipes, to the final bake. Guests will be raising three different types of bread from the oven, including a wholemeal loaf and an Italian dough to bring home and share with family and friends.
