Nestled in lush and leafy surroundings, the club is a welcoming retreat from the city beyond its tree lined borders, near Thamesmead. This challenging nine hole course, which includes a par five, rewards accuracy and thoughtful shot choices, with numerous water hazards beckoning. These wizards of the white orb also boast a 24 bay floodlit driving range, a fully stocked pro-shop and a welcoming function suite.
Players can give praise to the golfing gods with two rounds on the club’s 2,534 yard nine-hole course. The stream intersecting the opening hole will provide the first of several challenges during the round as a mishit tee shot will almost certainly mean a lost ball, while some well protected greens will ensure approach play has to be tight throughout. All the action will be fuelled by a bacon roll and a pint of beer, small glass of wine, or a soft drink, available from 11am onwards. A bucket of 60 range balls each is also included, allowing chauffeurs of the sphere to limber up pre-match or make up for missed putts after the game. Furthermore, with 25% off membership players may be back sooner than later.
